Who we are
Camp No Counselors is operated by Back to Camp, LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company. In this policy, "Camp No Counselors," "we," "us" and "our" mean Back to Camp, LLC.
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit campnocounselors.com, buy a ticket, or attend one of our camps, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to our website and to the information you give us in connection with attending camp.
It does not apply to third-party websites we link to. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Information we collect
Most of what we hold, you give us directly when you buy a ticket or complete your camper details.

A note on health information. We ask about allergies, dietary requirements and accessibility needs so our kitchens and camp teams can keep you safe and fed. We ask for an emergency contact so we can reach someone if you need help. This information is shared only with the people who need it to do that job. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell it.
Payment information. We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, and card data goes directly to them. See Payments and ticketing below.
Information from others. If someone books on your behalf or names you as a bunkmate or emergency contact, we will hold the information they gave us about you.
How we use your information
We use what we collect to:
- Sell you a ticket and confirm your booking
- Place you in accommodation and, where we can, with the people you asked for
- Cater for your dietary requirements and allergies
- Run arrival logistics, including the camp bus
- Reach your emergency contact if something happens at camp
- Verify that you meet the 21 and over age requirement
- Send you the information you need before camp, including packing lists, arrival times and schedules
- Answer your questions and handle refunds, transfers and complaints
- Send you marketing about future camps, if you have opted in
- Understand how the site is used so we can improve it
- Measure how our advertising performs
- Keep our camps safe and meet our legal, insurance and tax obligations
We do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Payments and ticketing
Tickets are sold through Campfront, our ticketing platform, and payments are processed by Stripe.
When you pay, your card details go directly to Stripe. We never see, collect or store your full card number, expiration date or security code. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the last four digits of the card and the card type, so we can identify your order and process refunds.
Stripe and Campfront each handle your information under their own privacy policies and under contracts with us that limit what they can do with it.
If you use a payment plan, the provider offering that plan will have its own terms and privacy policy, and may run its own checks. We do not perform credit checks and we do not share your information with credit agencies.
Who we share your information with
We share personal information only where it is needed to run camp or where the law requires it.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, to enforce our terms, to protect the safety of campers and staff, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business, in which case the recipient would be bound by this policy.
Each of these providers is bound by contract to use your information only to provide the service we have asked them for.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information
- We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for payment
- We do not run credit checks or share your information with credit agencies
- We do not store your card details
- We do not sell or license customer behavioral data to anyone
- We do not use your health or dietary information for marketing
- We do not operate member accounts, a forum or a user feedback system
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, understand how it is used, and measure our advertising.
Essential cookies keep the site functioning and your checkout working. These cannot be turned off.
Analytics cookies tell us which pages people visit and where they drop off, so we can improve the site.
Advertising cookies let us measure whether our ads work and show relevant ads to people who have visited us. These are set by third-party advertising platforms.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you when one is being set. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information where applicable law recognizes it.
Emails and text messages
Transactional messages. Once you buy a ticket we will email you your confirmation and everything you need before camp. We may also text you urgent updates during the camp weekend, such as a change to the bus departure. You cannot opt out of these while you hold a ticket, because you need them.
Marketing. We will only send you marketing about future camps if you have opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to opt out. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop your booking confirmations.
If you have given us your number for marketing texts, you can stop them by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.
Photography and video at camp
We photograph and film at every camp, and we use that footage on our website, in marketing, and on social media. Content creators attending camp may also film.
When you buy a ticket you are asked to agree to a photo and video release. By attending, you accept that you may appear in images and video we capture, and that we may use them without further notice or payment.
If you would rather not appear, tell us before camp or speak to a member of our team while you are there, and we will do our best to keep you out of shot. If an image of you is already published and you want it removed, email us and we will take it down from anything we control.
We cannot remove images that other campers or creators have published on their own accounts.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it.

Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections across our website and checkout, and access controls limiting who on our team can see what.
Our ticketing and payment providers maintain their own security standards. Stripe is certified to the PCI Data Security Standard.
No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that your information will never be accessed without authorization, and you share it with us on that understanding. If a breach occurs that affects your personal information, we will notify you where the law requires it.
Your privacy rights
Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can email us to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will respond as quickly as we can.
If you live in the United States
Depending on your state, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we collected it, and who we shared it with
- Get a copy of that information in a portable format
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete it
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising
- Limit how we use sensitive personal information
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any other right, email us at info@campnocounselors.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity before we act, usually by confirming details from an order.
You can authorize someone else to make a request on your behalf. We will ask for proof of their authority.
If we refuse a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal.
If you live outside the United States
Our camps are in the United States and your information is stored and processed there. Privacy laws in the United States may differ from those where you live.
If data protection law in your country gives you additional rights, including rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, email us and we will handle your request in line with that law.
Age requirement
Camp No Counselors events are for adults aged 21 and over. We collect your date of birth at checkout to confirm this.
Our website and our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised. If we make a significant change to how we use your information, we will tell you by email or by a notice on the website.
