There’s a timelessness in the warm, dusty air out here. Peak August, long golden evenings, water that’s exactly the right temperature, and a weekend that pulls you back to playing like a kid all day and partying like an adult all night.

You’ll sweat in the California heat. You won’t sweat anything else.

California Camp

Our California camp sits on 75 acres in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, located in Sanger just outside Fresno. It’s the kind of place that makes the drive in feel like part of the weekend.

You get comfortable cabins, a lake built for getting on the water, and a social scene that does the hard work of introducing you to people. Three nights to switch off, slow down, and remember what you were like before calendars.

Every day you will be able to sign up for a wide range of activities, some you can do by yourself, some are with groups and teams. There’s a wide range of options for the athletic, the adventurous, the artistic and the… aquatic? Yeah, we have it all at our California Camp!

What’s the Food Like?

Eight full meals across the weekend, with multiple genuinely good options at every one, built with the camp kitchen.

Beyond the main dishes there are salad bars, fruit stations, freshly baked items and a dessert bar at meal times, plus snacks through the day and a late-night option for when the night refuses to end.

We cater for every dietary need and we collect yours before camp, so there's nothing to sort out when you get here.

It's hot, it's non-stop, and you can't run on vibes alone. We go all in on the food so you can go all in on everything else.

California Camp FAQs

When is camp?

19 to 22 August 2027, three nights and four days, all-inclusive.

Where is camp and how do I get there?

Camp is held at Wonder Valley Ranch in Fresno, California.

Our round-trip bus runs from LAX only, and it's a $150 add-on you can buy at checkout or add later if your plans change.

Pick-up & drop-off: LAX Airport, 5855 West Century Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90045
Departs LAX: 12:00pm Thursday
Departs camp: 10:00am Sunday

Driving in instead? There's free, secure parking on site. Fresno is the closest airport if you'd rather fly in and drive the last stretch yourself, but note that we don't run a bus from Fresno.

What are the cabins like?

Modern, clean cabins sleeping 4 to 6 campers, so a slightly smaller group than our other camps. Attached private bathrooms with hot showers. Your linens are left on the bed for you to make up yourself, proper classic camp.

Is there air conditioning?

Private rooms with air conditioning and heat are available as an add-on for $499.

Do I need to bring a towel?

No. Bedding, linens and towels are all provided.

Can I upgrade my accommodation?

Yes. Private rooms are available as an add-on for $499. Email info@campnocounselors.com and we'll confirm availability.

What activities are there?

Outdoor Adventure Course, Archery, Pickleball, Beach Volleyball, Wiffleball, Yoga, Arts & Crafts, Paint & Sip, Pool & Waterpark, Boating, Dodgeball, Kickball, Tie-Dye, Trail Walks, Paintball and Go Karting.

Is there swimming?

Yes. California has a lake and a pool, plus a waterpark and boating.

Are there trained staff to run the activities?

Yes. The name might be Camp No Counselors, but we have highly trained and qualified staff running the majority of activity areas. We always have lifeguards, outdoor adventure staff, medical professionals and security, as well as a number of our core camp team helping run socials, activities and more. We take the quality of our events very seriously, and we make sure our campers are safe and having fun too.
