In romantic comedies, a meet cute is a scene in which the two people who will form a future romantic couple meet for the first time. We see it ALL the time at camp. You walk up to the bar, ask for a Our New York Vodka cocktail, the other person walks up and orders the exact same drink… they turn, smile at each other. Okay, it doesn’t usually happen quite like that… but we do love to see people cracking open a cold beer when they first arrive and just immediately feel like they are in a shared space where they can easily start talking to new people.
