Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go back to summer camp as an adult? Camp No Counselors is the all-inclusive, weekend-long sleepaway camp for grown-ups – as seen on ABC’s “Shark Tank”! Escape to a weekend experience that combines your favorite aspects of childhood fun along with the best of what being a grown-up has to offer. It’s time to put away your phone, gather your friends, and free yourself from the stresses of adult life.
Each camp weekend is filled with land and water sports, arts ‘n crafts activities, epic nightly theme parties, an open bar, delicious meals and, of course, all of your favorite classic camp activities. At CNC, our motto is “Play like a kid, party like a grown-up.”
Each morning begins with the ringing of the bell, birds chirping and the mist coming off the lake. At breakfast we have a full spread of healthy options to start off your day on the right foot - from farm fresh eggs and thick cut smoked bacon to unlimited stacks of pancakes and bagels. We also have a hand cut fresh fruit bar, a selection of yogurts, granola, cereals and always lots and lots of coffee. It also isn’t a Camp No Counselors breakfast without unlimited mimosas and Bloody Mary’s to accompany your meal!
Since we have ‘no counselors’, you can choose-your-own-adventure. Sign up for as many or as few activities as you like! We have numerous activities to choose from at each, so if you feel adventurous, artsy or even hung-over, you’ll find the one that’s just right for you.
At lunch you may find a signature CNC barbecue including all natural beef hot dogs, handmade hamburgers, turkey burgers and veggie burgers with all the accouterments to make it just how you like it! One of other lunch favorites is our Mexican fiesta including beef, chorizo and chicken tacos, an endless nacho bar and of course a make your own margarita bar. All of our lunches are accompanied by a full wine and beer bar too! In additional to our standard menu, we offer gluten-free, vegetarian and other options for those with dietary restrictions.
Similar to our morning activities, you’ll make your own schedule of activities. Most people feel a little more adventurous in the afternoon so we may throw in an impromptu slip n’ slide into a lake, zip line or hiking adventure to mix things up.
We’re all adults and we know that running around all day has no better accompaniment than an afternoon nap. Feel free to nap, shower, read a book by the lake or play games with new friends. The camp property is your oyster so do what you want! As kids they called this the ‘free’ period but as adults, we call it the napping period.
After a good nap and shower, you’ll be ready to get the evening program started with a few libations to wet the whistle. Our full service open bar will be stocked with a large selection of beer, wine, and liquor, so no need to bring any extras to camp. We’ve got you covered all weekend long. We usually accompany our happy hours with fun lawn sports, drinking games and always amazing music and views.
One of the premiere factors in how we select our camp partners are their chefs and food quality. While you may eat delicious takes on classic camp meals, you’ll never find yourself eating sloppy joes or boiled hot dogs. At dinner you’ll regularly find barbecue grilled chicken and smoked baby back ribs with rosemary potatoes, kale salad and homemade cornbread or flame grilled marinated skirt steak with oven-roasted vegetables and garlic-mashed potatoes. In addition, we accompany each meal with a fresh salad bar. Let us know if you have any dietary restrictions and we’ll make sure you’re covered with, gluten-free, vegetarian and other options.
Our evening activities are always a highlight of the weekend. When was the last time you performed a talent, told a story, did a standup comedy routine or prepared a skit for a group of 200 strangers? You can choose to participate or be a spectator but either way, bring a smile and a cheer and you’ll have an absolute blast at the talent show. Our evening camp-wide activities have ranged from epic talent shows to karaoke battles, so no matter what is presented at your camp, you better bring you’re A game!
Since there's no party more fun than a costume party, we introduce themes for each bash well before the camp weekend, so everyone can prepare for the parties. The themes have ranged from "Under The Sea" to “Jock Jams”, “Wet Hot American Summer” and well beyond. Each night we bring in world class DJ's or up-and-coming bands to play our parties. You’ll find yourself fireside, roasting marshmallows under the stars or in an old rustic cabin dancing the night away with friends new and old, in the most hilarious and ridiculous costumes. Each of our party experiences will take you to a place you’ve never been.
At each Camp No Counselors weekend getaway, we gain exclusive access to an entire camp, including all grounds, fields, buildings, sports facilities, bunks, dining hall and the entire waterfront. While we don’t claim to be a five star resort, we only partner with the most beautiful camps across North America. We ensure that our cabins are clean, the food is gourmet and that all of our camps have the modern amenities to ensure comfort for adults.
Helpful tip: In your Registration Form, mention the names of your friends with whom you’d like to bunk, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request OR if you have a group 4 or more, Register as a ‘Group’ and we guarantee that you will bunk with your friends!
Each of our camp locations offers a variety of different arts and athletic activities from which to choose. Even though we have ‘no counselors’ telling you what to do, there will be the necessary staff on hand to help facilitate the activities from the wakeboarding boat drivers to the ropes course belay instructors; you have nothing to worry about – except having fun!
Here’s a list of activities you’ll find at our camps, but, be sure to check your desired camp location for an exact list of available activities: Archery / Arts ‘N Crafts / Basketball / Capture the Flag / Color War / Dodgeball / Friendship Bracelet Weaving / Nature Hikes / Paddle Boarding / Ping Pong / Relay Races / Ropes Courses / Sailing / Scavenger Hunts / Slip ‘N Slide / Softball / Sunbathing / Swimming / Talent Show / The Blob / Tie Dying / Tubing / Tug of War / Ultimate Frisbee / Wakeboarding / Water Skiing / Water Slides / Water Trampoline / Zip Line and much more!
Part of what differentiates the Camp No Counselors experience from a traditional kids camp, is our gourmet dining. We start each day with a healthy breakfast including eggs, bacon, pancakes, cereals, juices, fresh fruit, yogurt and always tons of coffee (and, of course, mimosas & Bloody Marys). For lunch and dinner, our chefs prepare unique takes on traditional camp classics like delicious barbecued baby back ribs, rosemary skirt steak, grilled chicken, corn on the cob, fish tacos, veggie burritos and other delicious gourmet dishes. Each meal is accompanied by healthy salads, fresh fruit and more. In addition to our standard menu, we offer gluten-free, vegetarian and other options for those with dietary concerns and restrictions.
While the activities are all fun and games during the day, the open bar takes our one-of-a-kind experience to the next level. At breakfast, we serve mimos and Bloody Mary’s, at lunch we have beer and wine available and from happy hour throughout the entire evening, we have a full service open bar including beer, wine and liquor.
In the evenings, we bring in world class DJ’s and up-and-coming bands to play private, unforgettable shows. Since there’s no party more fun than a costume party, we introduce themes for each bash well before the camp weekend, so everyone can prepare for the parties. The themes have ranged from “’Merica 4th of July” to “Jock Jams”, “Wet Hot American Summer” and beyond. While we do have an ‘open bar’ available throughout the course of the weekend, we do not serve alcohol in between meals to ensure the safety of our campers during the activity periods.
“This has literally been the best weekend away that I have ever had. Whether you want to relax with crafts or go on crazy adventures, there is something for everyone to do at all times. I felt stripped down to my real self instantly, and any anxiety I had about not knowing people on the trip vanished within moments of being at camp. I feel truly lucky to have found such an amazing group of people with the same goal of letting go and having fun! Such a combination of intellectual, funny, deep, laid back and creative people that I will never forget. Camp No Counselors is something special that we all share and I can’t wait for summer camp next year!”
“This was my first time to Camp and I literally didn’t know a soul upon arrival. Within an hour, my friend count had grown by 6 and by dinner on the first night, by 30. By the end of the weekend, my stomach was sore from laughter and I gave 67 heart-felt hugs to people I will most certainly see again (soon). The curation of people, venue, activities, etc, was all spot on and I’d recommend Camp No Counselors to any like-minded people that I know.”
“I’m not much of an athlete. I’m not much of an artist. I’m not much for competition. Screaming makes me uncomfortable. Strangers make me put up my guard – a skill honed by walking the streets of New York City day in and day out.
But when the doors of the bus opened and the all encompassing beauty of the natural world flooded through my veins, I was transformed. I was an athlete, an artist, a competitor, a screamer, an open book to welcome in strangers to make them my peers and friends. Camp scratched an itch I didn’t even know I had. It awoken a sleeping giant – it brought back the childlike wonder that I believe is dormant in all of us and is silently waiting to be reborn.
Thank you CNC for taking me away from myself for a moment. Making me part of a greater whole. Thank you for resurfacing the majestic innocence of youth and slapping it in our face so we couldn’t ignore it even if we wanted to. You momentarily healed the minds of ambitious adults who tend to forget what freedom can and should feel like. Time stood still and we were all engulfed by the good vibes. You’ve ignited a spark that I’ll carry with me…until next year ;)”
“Despite being sore in places I didn’t even know I had, I woke up incredibly aware of how blessed I am. I knew Camp would be amazing, but I never imagined that it could be as incredible as it was. I just wanted to send a big fat THANK YOU for one of the most amazing weekends of our lives. I am so grateful for the memories made, and the friendships that I hope will continue for a very long time.
Whoever said Disney was the happiest place on earth never attended CNC.“
“The best part of CNC is the people. The group was packed with talented, bad asses from many different industries. But I didn’t even realize it until after we got home. There’s something to be said for an experience that allows people to bond on a deeper level than playing the name game and trading business cards. I loved that I left the weekend with 100 new friends, even if I had no idea what they did or where they lived.”
“At my first CNC, I broke my finger and still had the time of my life. I met friends who are now some of my closest. I learned, I played, I soaked it all in and didn’t stress over anything the entire weekend. I listed to magical music at a morning dance party and felt shivers down my spine. Every detail of that camp was put together perfectly so that they’re invisible and you can focus entirely on the people and the fun. You’ll forget about your phone and your job and you’ll actually connect with people. Do it.”
“I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I signed up to go to Camp No Counselors. But the weekend that I had is one I will remember forever. I never thought I would make so many new friends and enjoy so many awesome activities. Who says camp is for kids? This was a weekend to disconnect from work and connect with new amazing people. So glad I went. I am a camper for life.”
“So…exactly what I needed.
This is to the people that have somehow someway managed to crack through my wallflower mentality.
Its been a little while since I’ve actually talked to real people with real things to say. With work and the speed of life, reality becomes blurred in the form of checklists and routine. This camp is a true beacon of light that offers perspective. It allows us all to see through the eyes of others. From strangers to a beautiful dysfunctional family and all that in just three nights.”
